Do you have a bass drum with metal hoops that you have a hard time getting your bass drum pedal to really grip to?
In the old days we used to rip a piece of cardboard and put some tape over it. This was a somewhat okay solution but would eventually come off or turn into a sticky mess.
Fortunately, all you need is this very inexpensive product that is the right size piece of rubber to fit inside the concave part of the metal hoop. It has a self-adhesive back, so there's no need for tape. This makes the hoop thick enough to even allow a vintage Speed King work right on a metal hoop.
